Le Projet Silk is a private outfit-rental boutique in Montréal, open by appointment. When you use this site you trust us with certain information: this document explains what it is, why we use it and what you can do about it.

We collect only what you give us willingly, usually through our contact form: your name, your email and your phone number. We collect no online payment information on this site — the deposit and the rental are settled at the boutique.

The booking calendar shown on the site is provided by Acuity Scheduling. What you enter there goes directly to Acuity, not to this site. See the third parties section below.

This information is used to confirm your appointments, prepare your fittings, manage your rentals and answer you. It is never sold, rented or traded for commercial purposes. We only write to you about boutique matters: an appointment reminder, a rental follow-up, an answer to your request.

To keep the site running, a few services receive the data their specific role requires: the Acuity Scheduling booking platform (Squarespace), which organises the time slots and takes the deposit, the payment processor for in-boutique transactions, the site’s host, and Sanity, which hosts the wardrobe photographs. Each one uses your data only for its role and is held to the same confidentiality obligations.

The Acuity calendar is embedded directly in our pages. When it loads, your browser talks to Acuity’s servers and to Google reCAPTCHA, the anti-spam tool Acuity uses to protect the form. Both then receive your IP address and technical information about your browser, and may set cookies of their own. These services are based outside Quebec, primarily in the United States.

The calendar does not load until you scroll down to it. If you would rather avoid it, write to us at leprojetsilk@gmail.com and we will book you without the tool.

This site uses a consent cookie to remember that you have dealt with the banner, along with the technical cookies the site needs to work. We set no advertising cookies ourselves and do no commercial tracking.

The Acuity calendar and Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies of their own when the calendar loads. Those serve the operation and security of the booking tool, not advertising. We neither control nor have access to them.
