Louer au suivant programme terms

Louer au suivant — “rent it to the next woman” — is how Le Projet Silk lets you give a second life to the pieces you love, through a high-end, carefully structured rental experience. Every garment accepted on consignment is chosen with care, so that the world and the standards of the brand are preserved.

  1. 01

    Selecting the pieces

    • — Every piece goes through an approval before it is listed for rental.
    • — We favour quality garments, designer or well-known labels, in excellent condition.
    • — Items that are stained, altered, damaged or outside the Silk aesthetic may be declined.

  2. 02

    Inspection & valuation

    • — Every garment is inspected and photographed when it comes in on consignment.
    • — A replacement value is agreed on together before the piece goes online.
    • — The garment’s condition is documented so that both parties have complete transparency.

  3. 03

    Revenue split

    The revenue a rental generates is shared between Silk and the garment’s owner. It is split 60% to Le Projet Silk and 40% to the owner of the piece. That share covers rental management, styling, photo shoots, marketing, professional cleaning and the client experience Silk provides.

    Payments are made monthly by Interac e-transfer, together with a detailed statement of the rentals.

    Care & protection of the pieces

    • — Every garment is professionally cleaned and cared for by Le Projet Silk between rentals.
    • — Normal wear from renting is to be expected and is part of the circular-wardrobe idea.
    • — In the case of significant damage, loss or theft, compensation is provided based on the garment’s agreed value.

  5. 05

    Length & withdrawal of items

    • — Pieces are consigned for a minimum period agreed between the parties.
    • — An owner may ask for an item back with reasonable notice, as long as it is not already booked or out on rental.

  6. 06

    Exclusivity

    • — Items consigned with Le Projet Silk must be available exclusively through Silk for the length of the consignment.

  7. 07

    Use of images

    • — By entrusting a piece to Silk, the owner authorises Le Projet Silk to photograph and promote the garment on its platforms and social media as part of listing it for rental.

Le Projet Silk celebrates circular fashion, one-of-a-kind pieces, and the idea that a garment can go on living through several women, several moments and several stories.
